GOLD STANDARD : Nail Design : Nail Polish and Nail Strip

Adding old-world glamour to your nails in half the time!
Thank the heavens for nail strips.
This way, I can create any design I want without learning how to do nail art.
I tried but I really suck at nail air :P

I used the nail strip left over from this post.
There was a lot of it left because the strips are pretty long.
As I've mentioned, I had tip issues.
To take care of that, I cut the strip in half :)

For the gold polish, I used OMG Oh My Golly in Gold Digger.
This is the best affordable gold polish in the market.
It is opaque (all gold, not just glitter) in two coats. It's also long wearing.
The gold matches perfectly with the gold accents on the strips!

Nail Haul Landmark, TriNoma : Nail Foil and Pre-Glued Nails

A table was laid out for these fancy things!
Pre-glued Nails (it's what they called it) and Nail Foils.
Most of them are less than P100 and some are less than P50!

I'll have individual posts about each of these lovelies :)

Stay tuned!

Nail Fun! Part 2 Sticker Nail Decals

Have you seen Part 1?

I got these Nail Stickers from the same sari-sari store for P10.
There are two sets of decals and one set of nail foil on here.
I used the foil as well but couldn't find the shots for it >.<

If you're up for some Nail Foil fun, choose the foil that best fits your nail beds.
Generally, nail foils can be stretched out a bit.
So, always pick the foil that is a bit smaller than your nail bed than a bit bigger.
(On my Nail : OMG Oh my Golly Nail Lacquer in Champagne, read about it here.)

Here, I'm opting for the sticker decal instead.
This is a lovely accent to any nail.
I'm really bad at drawing designs on nails so this is a wonderful option :)

Gently peel off the sticker and...

Stick it on your nails - Voila!
Lather on a layer of top coat and you're done!
(On my Nail : OMG Oh my Golly Nail Colors by Klik in Disco Ball. Read about it here.)

Because the design is intricate, I prefer to use decals on statement nails (instead of all my nails).

The product above will not last long.
You can remove it with nail polish remover on a cotton ball.

Have you dabbled in some nail faun lately?

NAIL FUN! Part 1 : Acrylic Stick On Nails

P10 each? Let me have some of that!

I was passing by one of the sari-sari stores along Krus na Ligas (I was coming home from the gym).
And, I spotted a selection of stick on plastic nails with bunnies on them!
Bunnies!
They were selling for P10 each and I thought it'd be fun just to try them out.
I've never had any experience with acrylic nails.
These are not actually acrylic and are made of light cheap plastic.
They aren't supposed to be long wearing and mind that they are quite cheap.
This is just for fun!

HOW TO USE THEM:

1) Snap off the individual nails from the "tree"

2) File off the excess plastic sticking out.

3) Line them up according to the size of your nails.

4) Apply glue on the interior (where it'll stick to your nail bed).

5) Press on until glue is dry and the plastic nail doesn't move around.
Try 2mins of pressing.

Also, I don't stick on things on my nail (foil or other) without a proper layer of base coat.
You never know!

There wasn't enough glue in the tube. It would only fit one nail LOL!

I've recently purchased "legit" stick-on nails from Landmark, TriNoma.
Stay tuned for that :)
